Outdoor Education Charity The Kingswood Trust – How You can Donate and Support

We’d like your help to connect more people with the natural world through our outdoor education residential stays and nature days. Donations to The Kingswood Trust are much appreciated and every £1 counts, with all money going directly to our beneficiaries.

A £5 to £10 donation will provide a healthy hot meal or warm clothing for a day outdoors in the winter. £20 would pay for wellies, waterproofs or much needed resources and equipment for our activities, for both children and for volunteers to use. £12.50 would fund a day of fun and learning in our woodland and £76.00 would enable a young person to have a brilliant residential stay, with memories that last a lifetime.

Thank you so much for your support.

Volunteer hours last year

We had a very enjoyable day, well organised and professionally run with great staff. There was laughter and nonstop chatter, from start to finish.

- Elizabeth Birch, Cheltenham Ladies College Guild.

Thank you for letting us do all the activities and have fun. I liked doing the peg trail and tree climbing. I want to go again because it was so good.

- Sophie (Aged 6).

The Orb was ideal for all our needs with space for the 15 of us to eat together, perfect for group activities and families. I think we would struggle to beat it on quality and value for money.

- Max Woollard from Cheshire.

Volunteering at The Kingswood Trust makes me feel valued and confident. It was great fun, giving the pets their breakfast and discovering freshly laid eggs in the chicken coop. Thank you for such an amazing opportunity.

- Juliet (Aged 12).

My favourite activities were the rope course, the midnight walk and the air raid shelters. Thank you for letting us stay for a night and meet the animals. You looked after us so well.

- Johnnie (Aged 7).

The Kingswood Trust is a great place to visit and volunteer. Working at the Trust has helped me become more confident and now I am now in full time work

- Stuart Bickerton from Telford.

Thank you for looking after my children at The Kingswood Trust Holiday Club. They have both thoroughly enjoyed their adventures, nature based and fun outdoor activities and arrive home happy and tired, ready for a good night’s sleep.

- Simon Briscoe from Wolverhampton.

The Kingswood Trust charity is a place where there are no limits to learning and no boundaries to the imagination.

- Rachel Wells - Head Teacher and Charity Manager, The Kingswood Trust.

I loved the zipline and feeding the rabbits. My most favourite time was when we ate our roast dinner and then went to the play area. I have been begging Miss Mason to come back soon and I hope we will.

- Rukudzo (Aged 7).

A lovely man. What a beautiful legacy🌺

Such sad news. Sending our best wishes to the whole family; such a huge loss of a truly lovely man 🌹

A beautiful man, inside and out. A true gentleman, who will be greatly missed by so many.

I was only looking at my Kingswood rose this morning , still in bloom after a frost, the smell is incredible. What a lovely gift to leave behind.

A true gentleman. I will think of him when my roses bloom x

Carl Bennett Len had always believed in you with your rose breeding and I know you spoke highly of him. I had the pleasure to meet Len, he was a lovely man. Well done to you with these roses 🌹 please purchase one if anyone can. ❤️

Where can u purchase from please ?

Oh no that’s so sad. We have 4 of the beautiful Kingswood roses at home and love them.

This friendly cat has been resident at Kingswood Trust for over a week....does anyone recognise it ? We will take it to the vet if still here next week. Thanks 😊

This is my cat ! I’m assuming you are on Barn Lane

Good morning. Does anyone recognise this cat? It has been around Kingswood Trust for a few days but has no collar. It seems quite friendly and we would like to reunite it with its owner. Please feel free to share, particularly if you are near to Kingswood Trust and Albrighton areas. Thank you

UPDATE: We know shes not a stray and has a loving home. Thank you to all that have shared.

She’s mine ! She lives at kats cradle cat rescue within spitting distance

The cat has a loving home at Kats Cradle and she likes to visit. Please do not feed her as she has plenty of food 24 hours a day and can be inside if she feels like it. Thank you

Aw, beautiful cat! Someone will be missing it. Perhaps you could take to a local vets and ask to scan for a microchip?

She’s now been missing 5 days and I’m worried sick

I hope she is OK.

Oriel you naughty girl.
